Kelly Ireland and Debra Torturo often felt a void when working for other companies as it provided them with minimal control over their economic and professional growth. In 2001 they decided to establish Carrillo Business Technologies, Inc. specializing in Information Technology solutions. The customer-focused business quickly became a big hit with corporate clients. With use of solid business principles they anticipated the company would thrive in ways other businesses did not.
Boeing was one of the first clients and took notice of their business principles and philosophies. CB Technologies current growth includes expansion within the federal business sector and High Performance Computing solutions.CB Technologies is one of the premier High Performance Computing Solution providers on the West Coast. In 2008, CB Technologies had sales of approximately $90 million with at least $24 million in High Performance Computing solutions extending from infrastructure and services to remote-visualization. CB Technologies is experienced with UNIX, Linux and Windows environments including Windows HPC server 2008.
In today’s economy, financial stability is a key concern to any client/customer base. CB Technologies has been a TOP 500 VAR for the last 4 years, is the 7th largest minority-women owned business in Orange County, and has been named Supplier of the Year to one of the largest aerospace companies in the country.
CB Technologies was honored by The Boeing Company to be interviewed on the half-hour magazine format show Making It! The show aired April 2008. CB Technologies provides hardware configuration, acquisition, delivery, and installation of HP linux, unix, and windows server products.
