An HPC Cluster is an amalgamation of multiple servers, networking, storage, and software to solve advanced computation problems using parallel processing algorithms. Use of a HPC Cluster, for example, could be to accurately predict and confirm vehicle fight characteristics of airplane using tools like Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) . Typically, HPC Clusters are comprised of commodity based infrastructure components build to solve computational problems reliably, efficiently and faster than single systems or single processors.
