CBT Leans on Family Culture to Succeed in 2020
Newsletter: October 2020
Friends & colleagues,
At CBT we use a set of core values to drive our everyday decisions and interactions. I’m proud to say that throughout this challenging year, these values (can-do attitude, customer-centric, forward thinking with a generous spirit, integrity and honesty) have been a source of comfort, kept our family close, and enabled us to continue thriving and growing.
Over the last few months CBT has received some notable accolades for our efforts and I’m happy to share them with you. Thank you to for being a part of our journey!
CRN Triple Crown
CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized CBT as a 2020 Triple Crown Award winner. This means CBT swept all 3 of CRN’s major awards for 2020: Solution Provider 500 (overall revenue), Fast Growth 150 (revenue growth) and the Tech Elite 250 (advanced technical certifications). CBT is one of only 44 Triple Crown winners out of 170,000 solution providers in North America, and one of just 16 Triple Crown honorees to repeat as winners in both 2019 and 2020.
CBT CEO Named a Finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year
For more than 30 years, EY has recognized game-changing business leaders. These are entrepreneurs who have disrupted industries, created new product categories and successfully brought innovation, such as new technology, to traditional industries. Our CEO, Kelly Ireland, was named a finalist this year for Orange County and we’re ecstatic to follow in her visionary footsteps.
CIO Review Most Promising
CBT has been featured in CIO Review’s October issue as one of the “10 Most Promising HPE Consulting/Service Companies – 2020.” The list highlights consulting/service companies that are transforming the IT landscape with respect to HPE at the cloverleaf of various disruptive technologies.
CBT CAO Named Finalist for OCBJ’s Women in Business
The Orange County Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards Program honors five OC businesswomen significantly contributing to their organizations. The special report, published on October 5, 2020, features nominee profiles and photos, plus articles of interest from sponsors and advertisers. You can find our CAO, Rachel Nelson’s profile on page 52.
At the end of the day, these accolades mean that our team (and our outstanding partner ecosystem) is finding ways to positively impact our customers’ business and attract new customers which is our never ending mission. As you can imagine, we are proud of our accomplishments and humble to be on this mission with great employees, customers and partners. We diligently work to differentiate our uniqueness and separate ourselves from a crowded space of vendors, suppliers, and partners. These awards validate our cause and how we perform for our ecosystem.
Stay safe and healthy,
Rob Schaeffer, President
