This year CBT is moving our Annual Charity Golf Classic to earlier in the summer. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 18th! We will be returning to Pelican Hill Golf Resort and we look forward to another incredible day or golf and philanthropy!
CB Technologies’ annual Charity Golf Classic raises funds for a local Los Angeles charity: Uplift Family Services at Hollygrove (formerly known as Hollygrove, an EMQ FamiliesFirst Agency). Hollygrove provides a variety of vital programs and services to meet the social-emotional, behavioral and mental health needs of young children, teens and their families. Since its inception, CBT’s proud to say our Golf Classic has raised over $300,000 for this worthy cause.
The tournament is perfectly scheduled so our guests can enjoy both the beauty and excitement of Pelican Hill Golf Course while keeping Hollygrove at the heart of the day. Participants will be provided breakfast, lunch and snacks for the course, plus fun games and activities to participate in throughout. We will conclude with a dinner banquet, handing out raffles and awards as the sun sets over the ocean.
Check out our video from last year’s tournament to get a taste of the action!
Uplift Family Services at Hollygrove is the Los Angeles division of one of the largest, most comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatment programs in California. Their mission is to help children, strengthen families, build community, and advocate for systems change to ensure their families thrive. Most of the children helped by the agency are living in poverty and have experienced adverse childhood trauma, such as neglect, exposure to violence, involvement with or observation of drug or alcohol addiction, or separation from family through formal removal by the Department of Children and Family Services. Uplift Family Services takes a state-of-the-art approach to children and adolescents with complex behavioral health challenges and helps them recover from trauma such as abuse, severe neglect, addiction and poverty. For youth that exit the programs, more than 90 percent are living in the community, staying in school and remaining out of trouble. For more information, visit www.upliftfs.org and follow the agency on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook: @upliftfamily. For more information on the charity, visit here.
The event is invitation only. If you are interested in joining us in the future, please email our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
