We’re proud to announce that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Kelly Ireland (our Founder) to its list of 2019 Power 30 Solution Providers, an elite subset of its prestigious Women of the Channel list.
CRN’s editorial team chooses the list from a multitude of channel leadership applicants and selects the final honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing dedication to the IT channel. The Power 30 Solution Providers belong to an exclusive group of the overall list: women in solution provider organizations whose leadership and vision are key drivers of their companies’ success and have had significant influence to move the entire IT channel forward.
CBT has come a long way since Kelly founded the company in 2001 as a value-added reseller (VAR) and subsequently led our successful transition to systems integrator in 2015. We are now in rarefied air, bridging the gap between operational technologies (OT) and informational technologies (IT) with groundbreaking projects like the Refinery of the Future (RotF) at Texmark Chemicals. Successful initiatives like RotF in Industrial IoT and High Performance Computing have positioned CBT as a key partner to industry-leading companies such as PTC, Deloitte, National Instruments, Antea, RealWear, SparkCognition and more. This has spurred explosive growth, as evidenced by our 46% YOY revenue increase in 2018.
Kelly’s leadership has also led to a myriad of accolades for CBT, including the HP PartnerOne Solution Provider of the Year Award for Cloud, nine consecutive Boeing Performance Excellence Awards, two consecutive CRN IoT Innovators awards, and the 2019 Women Presidents’ Organization’s 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies. Kelly has also achieved numerous personal awards, including CloudNOW’s Excellence in Entrepreneurial Achievement award.
“CRN’s 2019 Women of the Channel list honors influential leaders who are accelerating channel growth through mutually-beneficial partnerships, incredible leadership, strategic vision, and unique contributions in their field,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “This accomplished group of leaders is driving channel success and we are proud to honor their achievements.”
Speaking about her most recent achievement, Kelly said, “I am humbled to see my name among so many impactful women business leaders. 2019 feels like the culmination of many years of hard work for CB Technologies, but really we’re just getting started. We’re one of the first companies truly delivering value integrating IT and OT, and I can’t wait to see what another year of innovation will bring.”
The 2019 Women of the Channel and Power 30 Solution Provider lists will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
